If I stick below 90kph and drive like a grandma it will approach 20mpg. I got slightly better mileage with the automatic gearbox- the manual gearbox means 3000rpm at 100kph, where the auto was doing 2200rpm or so. Overtightened front wheel bearings cost me about 1mpg (and a set of wheel bearings).
