Mine has been remaped for quite a while now and no problems, the gearboxes are not made out of tissue and custard it will not break unless you drive like a muppet 90% of the time the same gear box is in the c8 but in manual form and in the c5 2.2 hdi with 175bhp as standard check with a good tuning company like Angel tunning and take there advise the only prblem i can see would be with the
